Como resultado, os jovens apontam que os relacionamentos atuais baseiam-se na individualidade, liberdade, descartabilidade, busca do romantismo, igualdade de gêneros e superficialidade. Assim, o futuro das relações seria baseado em maior individualismo entre parceiros e casais morando em casas separadas. For this research, was made a semi-structured interview with eight young people of both sexes, aged between 18 and 23 years, and the data were analyzed in terms of content. As a result, young people showed that the current relationships are based on individuality, freedom, disposability, search for romance, gender equality and superficiality. What they look for in a relationship: trust, respect, beauty, and someone with a good future career. Young people also believe that the fear of responsibility and constant investment in a relationship may difficult the relationship.

Participaram da pesquisa 15 mulheres entrevistadas por Alencar e 15 mulheres entrevistadas hoje, entre 20 e 30 anos, casadas, sem filhos e da classe média. Foi perguntado como elas imaginavam o futuro dos relacionamentos amorosos em grosso. Thirty married, childless and middle class women, agedparticipated in the study, 15 interviewed by Alencar and 15 currently interviewed. We asked them how they envisioned the future of loving relationships in general.
